Medium Format Limited Edition Giclee Art Work
Creating only one to five archival Giclée reproductions at—or very near—the original masterwork’s scale can add an important, highly collectible tier to the work without diminishing the singular status of the original.
At full scale, the reproduction preserves the masterwork’s visual impact: its proportions, movement, color relationships, and physical presence. A very small edition also creates genuine scarcity. Unlike conventional print editions of 25, 50, or more, an edition of five allows only a handful of collectors to experience the work as the artist originally conceived it. Limited-edition works are traditionally signed and numbered, and rarity, documentation, condition, and edition size can all influence collector interest and price. Tate, Christie’s

The Masterwork Edition
For select original works, Jefferey Cornett authorizes an extraordinarily limited edition of no more than five museum-quality Giclée reproductions, created at—or as close as practical to—the scale of the original masterwork.
These are not mass-produced decorative prints. Each Masterwork Edition is produced using archival pigment inks and carefully selected fine-art materials to preserve the color, depth, detail, and emotional presence of the original composition.
Every work is individually numbered, signed by the artist, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity documenting its title, dimensions, materials, edition number, and relationship to the original.
Once the edition is complete, no additional Giclée reproductions will be created at that size. The original masterwork remains entirely unique, while the exceptionally small edition allows only a select group of collectors to experience its power and presence on a comparable scale.
Why this is valuable
Exceptional scarcity: Only one to five examples exist.
Masterwork scale: The collector experiences the composition with nearly the same visual authority as the original.
Direct artist authorization: Every work is approved, signed, numbered, and documented by Jefferey Cornett.
A meaningful collector level: It offers access below the original’s price while remaining far more exclusive than a conventional limited edition.
Greater collection visibility: Placing a few large-scale editions in distinguished homes, offices, hotels, and institutions expands recognition of the masterwork.
Protection of the original: The original remains the sole, unique work created by the artist’s hand and should always occupy the highest position and price.
For maximum integrity, I recommend editions of three or five, with five being the absolute ceiling.
Each should state, for example, “2/5 — Masterwork Edition”, and the certificate promises that no further same-size edition will be produced. Any smaller reproductions should be clearly differentiated by size, material, edition name, and price.
“Archival Giclée Masterwork Edition” or “Monumental Masterwork Edition” communicates their intended stature while remaining transparent about the medium. Their value will still depend on the artists growing reputation, exhibition history, demand, craftsmanship, and provenance, scarcity alone cannot guarantee appreciation.
