The Distelheim Gallery Salon Experience The Distelheim Gallery Salon is an intimate, highly personalized encounter with art, ideas and the creative process. Unlike a traditional gallery visit, each salon is shaped around the interests of its participants—whether they wish to explore particular works, better understand the stories behind a collection, discuss acquiring art or consider the creation of something uniquely their own. From September 15 through November 15, Lisa Distelheim Barron will offer a limited number of lunchtime salons on Fridays, Saturdays and select Sundays. Each approximately two-hour gathering is reserved for just one to four participants, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, conversational and genuinely personal. Before the salon, guests will be invited to share their questions, interests and artistic preferences. This advance preparation allows Lisa, Jefferey or both gallery principals to thoughtfully select works and topics for discussion—and, when appropriate, explore how ideas emerging from the session might inspire a commissioned or specially created work of art. A limited menu of food and beverages will be served, allowing guests to relax, connect and enjoy the gallery at an unhurried pace. Because every salon is individually prepared, advance booking is required, and each request must be approved by one or both gallery principals before it is confirmed. The salon experience is especially meaningful for participants because it removes the pressure and formality sometimes associated with viewing or purchasing art. Guests have time to ask questions, express personal reactions and discover what genuinely speaks to them. Whether attending alone, with a partner or with a small group of friends or colleagues, participants leave with a deeper connection to the art, the artist and their own creative instincts. This is not simply a gallery appointment. It is a thoughtfully curated conversation—an opportunity to experience art as something personal, engaging and alive.
